The MATIÈRES LIBRES Association is launching the new edition of the Mathias Prize, a competition dedicated to young talents in craft and applied arts.
As every year, the jury — made up of figures from design, decoration, media and business — will select the three most accomplished and original projects featuring bold use of materials.
Candidates can download the application form from the Mathias Prize page. Complete applications must be submitted before 31 July 2026.
The Mathias Prize is open to young creators under thirty who have graduated from craft or applied arts schools, are in training, or are self-taught.
