The association in brief
Founded in December 2015 by Mathias, the MATIÈRES LIBRES Association aims to help young graduates from Craft and Applied Arts schools, or self-taught artists, through the difficult transition to professional life.

Mathias Prize
The Mathias Prize, organised by the MATIÈRES LIBRES Association, supports young creators, students from applied arts schools, craft schools, or self-taught artists. The jury selects the three most accomplished projects featuring bold use of materials.
