Mathias
President of the Matières Libres Association
Founded in December 2015 by Mathias, the MATIÈRES LIBRES Association aims to help young graduates from Craft and Applied Arts schools, or self-taught artists, through the difficult transition to professional life.
During this period, young creators face many financial, legal and administrative challenges, often delaying the fulfilment of their talent and creativity by several years.
Every year in April, the MATIÈRES LIBRES Association launches a competition through the media, social networks and posters in schools. It is open to all creative young people under thirty who have graduated from craft or applied arts schools, are in training, or are self-taught.

Beyond the award ceremony, the MATIÈRES LIBRES Association promotes the work of the laureates through exhibitions at professional fairs, press articles and communication on social networks…
The Association also invests in recognising their talent by connecting laureates with people who can help them: business leaders, journalists, craft specialists, lawyers… Finally, the Association supports them with their first commissions and advises them throughout their professional journey.
"Passing on know-how is at the heart of Mathias's priorities and those of the MATIÈRES LIBRES Association members; with your support, it will become everyone's mission."
